Gaps-UGent.be

Year: 2012
Client: GaPS
Website: http://www.gaps-ugent.be/
Description:

Code d'Or created the new website for the University of Ghent research group "Governing and Policing Security", in collaboration with the nice people at Mojoville.

Led by Professor and Doctor Marleen Easton. the team at GaPS researches government policies, policy handling, and everything in between - while at the same time giving advice to local, national and international institutions.

Code d'Or developed the website with a briefing to start from, but when other opportunities presented themselves during Q&A sessions, we opted to include these in the briefing. As such, the GaPS research group now has a way to update it's Publications, Research and Services sections on their website, integrating their daily activities in a window to the world.
As personal and activity information is very important in the academic world, we also provided a simple way to integrate profile pages for all members, past and present.
A search functionality allows for the easy finding of earlier uploads, and to a degree, the people at GaPS will probably try to use the website as a reference repository for their work and creations.
