A new year and a flying start

Code d'Or is happy to see that the hard work we've been doing the last couple of months is paying off. We only launched one new website in last quarter of 2012 - which made uskind of sad, as we did not have a lot to show for. On the other hand, we've been workingon quite some new projects behind the scenes, and most of these will be launching in January.

We're currently developing new websites for the Government and Policing Security faculty and the Image Archive at Ghent University, while the first phase of the ErasmusMundus GEM PhD Application Process at ULB is closing today, and the second phase is starting as we speak.

At the same time, work has started on a new website for Zhaikmunai, in collaboration with Beeld.Inzicht, and we'll be providing extra features for retailer Bent, in collaboration with Focus Advertising. We'll also be launching the new website for the Federation of Gypsum manufacturers soon, a project that has been ongoing since 2010.

We're also hoping to get a green light for a pilot project for Nutricia, one of the first stepstowards a full online webshop for food articles in collaboration with daycare centres.

Sooooooo .... that brings us back to the work done in 2011, but what about 2012?

There's plenty of good stuff coming along: we're hoping to fill the Project Manager position that is open at the moment by the end of January. We're getting more and more used to our new office space and we'll be buying new furniture soon - a small waiting room for clients arriving a wee early sometimes, gear for our CreativeRoom (pictures will come online when it's ready), and we'll upgrade our XArcade controller to a USB version for some office arcade action!
