When getting a project to market, there's no denying that the code under the hood is crucial. Code d'Or takes development seriously: we invest time and resources in documentation, training, source control management, milestones and backups. The codebase is a part of your project that most clients never get confronted with. We understand that not all users are interested in this part of an assignment.

On the other hand, all involved should realize that a codebase is something that grows over time, and that needs to be managed properly. If your project gets bigger, the codebase should be able to evolve and scale along. If a bug is encountered, issue management is key, as to make sure the problem is handled efficiently, and in a secure manner. When software upgrades are necessary for a module that is part of your project, a policy should be available on how to tackle this, as to minimize maintenance and downtime.

We're pretty open in the work we do for our clients during our development cycles. Some clients really want to know the specifications and the tools we are using, and we'll gladly provide them that information. Others don't need or want it - but we'll provide it if requested.
